Youth of Tomorrow was founded in 2008 and deliverd a state educaton program which was founded by Pat Cash – the School Education Program.
Initially, the program began with a few schools attending a commemorative education program at Melbourne Park (home of the Australia Open). With increased interest and demand over the years, the program was launched at Pat Rafter Arena, at the Queensland Tennis Centre in 2017, followed by Ken Rosewall Arena at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis World in 2019. The program reached over 9,000 youth particpants across three states.
In 2020, the program was revised and renamed the Schools Future-Fit Program which promotes five key categories in social inclusion and diversity, physical health, mental wellbeing, gender equality and sustainability. It is also one of the few programs in Australia which is linked to the Australian Curriculum, reduces youth related issues identified by the Australian Human Rights Commission and delivers 6 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Pat believes in creating life–changing experiences for youth today to build stronger communities tomorrow. The programs success is a testament to Pat’s commitment to supporting young people in Australia.
