School Education Program – Victoria

The School Education Program was introduced to year 6 primary school students promoting diversity, social cohesion, a healthy lifestyle and camaraderie through the ANZAC legend.
The program was first launched in 2008 at Melbourne Park (home of the Australian Open) and designed as a full day of rotational activities which allow primary school students to interact with students from other schools.
Activities include:
- Commemorative education presentation (Presented by RSL Victoria)
- Tour of the Rod Laver Arena
- Tennis activities
- Students become spectators at the Gallipoli Youth Cup tournament
Since launching, up to 8,100 primary school children have participated in the program and continues to be one of the leading educational programs in Australia.
